I'm a mother. I’m in it—school forms, crumbs, kisses, chaos, and quiet moments that slip by before I can name them. I don’t always share because I’m living it. But I believe deeply in capturing it—not just for social, but for memory. For the years when I’ll want to hold these moments again. This is why I want to photograph mothers. Not posed perfection—real, fleeting, present-moment beauty. If you’re feeling the swirl too… you’re not alone. ... And if you want to hold on to a piece of now, I’d love to be a part of that.

Mother’s Day has come and gone… But the truth is — mothers don’t stop being mothers after Sunday. The moments still unfold. The quiet sacrifices, the belly laughs, the soft hands brushing back hair, the strength behind the scenes. At Journeystills Photography, I believe these moments are worth more than one day a year. That’s why I don’t do “mini sessions.” I don’t squeeze motherhood into a 20-minute window and call it good. I take time. I listen. I help you see what is already beautiful and worthy — just as you are. The “Simply Her” session is designed to honor you in the in-between. To pause time. 🎓 The End Is Near… Senior year is a season full of change — full of “lasts” and letting go, and of stepping forward into something new. This young man carried so much quiet strength during his session. The final stretch of a chapter that shaped him. I’ll leave the full story for his family to share — but I couldn’t resist showing a small glimpse of this moment in time.
